Luke followed his gospel account of the ministry of Jesus Christ with the book of Acts, which gives us the history of the early church. The book of acts serves as a guide for our faith and life practices today. This Sunday, we will be studying Acts 27, which tells of bad storms on Paul’s trip to Rome, and how the Lord continued to protect Paul as He moved him closer to Rome. We will see in this message how Paul lived a life of “self forgettfulness” and the faith that he had in life’s storms through his freedom in Christ.
