ABOUT US

The mission of Deer Park Child Development Center is to support families with preschoolers and young children by providing a loving and nurturing environment for learning. Our goal is to have teachers that love your child, curriculum that guides your child, and memories that will follow your child.

We also want to provide a safe, fun atmosphere where your children (and their parents) can know that Jesus loves them and has a plan for them. We know that parenting is hard! Deer Park Baptist Church wants to help strengthen you and your family as you navigate this time of life.

We offer a half-day program Monday through Friday from the dates of September to May. Classes are available for ages two years to four years of age.

OUR STAFF

Parent surveys have consistently listed our staff as our strongest asset. They receive 15 hours of training annually and all undergo background checks and TB testing along with health screening. Most teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid. We are proud to maintain low classroom ratios but most of all, our staff love your children!

CURRICULUM

All children are exposed to daily activities that include Bible lessons, Art, Music, Dramatic Play, Science and Nature, Math Concepts, Manipulatives, Fine and Gross Motor Skills. Children in 4K use the Get Set for School Curriculum from Handwriting Without Tears for Readiness, Language and Math lessons.

Additional enrichment activities for 3K and 4K include Music and Movement, Kids on Mission, Art Class, and WOW (World of Wonders). WOW further extends theme topics into areas of math, science, and social studies. Learning Labs and Creative Cooking classes are offered throughout the year, along with mission projects and special events.

School Hours

2K: 9am-12:30pm; 3, 4, or 5 days per week

3K: 9am-12:30pm; 3, 4, or 5 days per week

4K: 9am-12:30pm; 3, 4, or 5 days per week

Lunch Bunch: 12:20pm-1pm daily; available as drop-in or on a regular schedule.

REGISTRATION AND MATERIALS FEE: $125 per child; $200 per family. Registration fee must be paid at the time of registration and is non-refundable. 

Tuition: An annual fee that includes tuition, snacks, supplies, and curriculum. 

TUITION RATES:

*3 day classes: $2,430.00 ($270 per month)

*4 day classes: $2,700.00 ($300 per month)

*5 day classes $2,970.00 ($330 per month)

Additional payment options are available with discounts. Second child discount available. 

Lunch Bunch and Cooking Classes are available for an additional fee.
